Product Description
Raw Materials That Are Suitable for Briquetting:
Wood Material: sawdust; leaves; bamboo; wood branches; etc.
Agriculture: rice husk; grain steams; surgarcane; bagasse; corn
stalk; corn cob; etc.
Fruit Material: peanut shell; coconut shell; coffee husk; etc.
Requirements of material:
1). The inlet size of raw material must be less than 3mm. If the
raw material size are bigger,
you must crush them with wood crusher firstly. The smaller the raw
material, the smoothly the
briquettes surface, and the better the hardness and strength.
2). The moisture of raw material for briquetting, must be less than
10%, and the moderate is
8%- 12%, otherwise, the outlet briquettes are easily broken and
have crevice. So before briquetting, you shall check the moisture content, if too wet, please drying
them with sawdust dryer or under
shunshine.
Ÿ Particle size
Generally the max particle size is 20x5x3 mm in order to avoid
feeding problems for the briquette press.
Ÿ Moisture content
As the optimum moisture content for briquetting purposes varies
with the raw material, we know from experience that the recommended water content is from min. 6% to max. 16%.
From 16% and higher quality will deteriorate considerably until
briquetting becomes hard.
Ÿ Wood waste Material
Most wood waste is suitable for briquetting depending on its
content of lignin as well as the moisture content and particle size
etc.

Different kinds of demolition wood are available in an increasing
amount around us and it can be turned into valuable fuel briquettes for private consumers or industrial use.
Ÿ Agricultural waste
Agricultural wastes such as organic wastes typically animal wastes
or dead plants, are usually not harmful to the environment; on the contrary, they can enrich the soil with
nutrients and minerals.
Alternatively agricultural waste like straw and stalks etc. is also
very suitable for production of briquettes.
